You see, I want a lot.
Maybe I want it all:
the darkness of each endless fall,
the shimmering light of each ascent.
So many are alive who don't seem to care.
Casual, easy, they move in the world
as though untouched.
But you take pleasure in the faces
of those who know they thirst.
You cherish those
who grip for survival.
You are not dead yet, it's not too late
to open your depths by plunging into them
and drink in the life
that reveals itself quietly there.
- Rilke
Hi, I'm Margaret.
Licensed Massage Therapist # 28284
Having experienced health complications that were rooted in my stress response, I know how important it is to cultivate practices and support systems that help regulate the nervous system. I have also experienced going from someone who ran a marathon and taught hot yoga to not being able to get out of bed for months on end. I know in my bones how impactful the health of our bodies is on every other aspect of life.
I am here because I have experienced a variety of relationships to my own body, and I know that this one precious life is meant to be experienced in an embodied state. A state in which grief and beauty have somewhere to land, love is FELT, food is savored, eyes connect souls, and oneness is not an abstraction.
I feel fortunate and honored to be in the role of creating space for you to step outside of your daily grind to rest and receive.
